Dr Robert Crawford is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at The University of Melbourne, teaching and researching in the areas of life cycle assessment, supply chain management and prefabrication in construction.

He has extensive experience modelling the environmental impacts associated with the built environment, using leading edge assessment techniques to model the energy and other resource demands embodied in construction materials, building components and systems as well as entire building projects.

Robert acts as a consultant to industry, government and professional organisations. He is also a member of the Australian Government Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency Expert Panel on Energy Efficiency in the Built Environment.
