To obtain a planning permit, an application was made to the City of Melbourne. The City Council agreed with the proposal and granted a planning permit.

There were concerns regarding overlooking with neighbours, which were addressed and resolved.

Overall, the proposed development was well received by all and a lot of interest was taken. A meeting with the East Melbourne Group was also a step to be transparent with the community.
